the iTunes Signature Maker is awesome! it quickly scans your music and creates a snippet of your most played songs. what a great way to answer that confounding question - what do you listen to? here’s how mine came out.

this weekend’s big surprise was when i learned that an article i co-wrote on school library media center websites was for sale at amazon. it was originally published in ISTE’s Learning & Leading with Technology way back in september 2004. i’m not sure when it went up or who is getting money for the sales, but it’s pretty cool to be able to search for myself there.

i received a beautiful stream of consciousness poem in my email today. however, it was part of a spam email attempting to sell me viagra and cialis. the spam aside, the poem was wonderful. are wordsmiths working for these evil spam companies, trying to get their art out in any means necessary?

seriously, this guy is a badass. just check out some chuck norris facts if you don’t believe me.
- Chuck Norris drives an ice cream truck covered in human skulls.
- If you ask Chuck Norris what time it is, he always says, “Two seconds ’til.” After you ask, “Two seconds ’til what?” he roundhouse kicks you in the face.
- The quickest way to a man’s heart is with Chuck Norris’ fist.
i wonder who would win a fight between chuck and bill brasky?

i think wikiHow’s motto must be “leave no stone unturned.” in their latest how-to, they tackle harsh heavy metal vocals. and in a very straightforward, non-ironic fashion, that is exactly what they do. so if this is a musical styling you’d like to try, head on over there.
