Doot doot!

I have been completely entranced by The Islands video for their song, Don’t Call Me Whitney, Bobby. in addition to be visually mesmerizing, it’s an easy song to get stuck in your head. as an added bonus, maggie loves it and perks up every time we play it.

Rockin’ Mom

Babble has an interesting article from Kori Gardner of Mates of State on touring with a 2 year-old. Her husband is also in the band and sharing parenting duties as the family lives the rock ‘n roll lifestyle.

Such a Good Little Piggy

I want a Rolypig composter!  this pig has everything you need for an easy-to-use backyard composting system.  no unsightly pile, little exposure to air to create a stink, a simple turning technique and it’s pretty cute.  it’s a little pricey, but at least there’s no need for extra ingredients to activate the process.  it’s really a nice eco-friendly solution that requires very little work.  they’ve even got a cool video (with cheezy music) showing how it works.
